ATV service & tires in Sutherlin, OR

Most auto shops won't touch a quad. At M.D. Automotive, ATV maintenance and tires are right there on the service list next to the cars and trucks — same bays, same hands, same straight answers. If your four-wheeler needs looking after, tell our assistant what it is and what it's doing.

Tell us the machine & what it needs — good-fit jobs get the shop's number.
What's covered

Quads welcome at the same 5-bay shop

Out here in Douglas County an ATV isn't a toy that sits in a garage — it's the machine that checks the fence line, hauls firewood up the back forty, and earns its weekend on the trails. Machines that work that hard need the same thing the trucks do: somebody local who'll keep them running instead of letting little problems grow into dead-in-the-shed problems. That's the job at the Plat I Rd shop.

Where the line sits: ATVs yes, watercraft no. Boats, jet skis and anything marine are outside what the shop takes on, and so are motorhomes and RVs. And if your tow rig needs attention while the quad's in — the maintenance side of the shop handles cars, trucks and SUVs all day long, and new tires for the truck run on the same ordered-in system. One trip to Sutherlin can sort the whole outfit.

Straight answers

Will Mark take the job?

For ATV maintenance and tires — yes, it's on the shop's service list, which is more than most auto shops around can say. The hard nos are boats, jet skis and watercraft, motorhomes and RVs, and electrical or wiring work. Got something in between — a machine you're not sure counts? Ask the assistant. You'll get a straight answer either way, and if it's not a fit, you'll hear that plainly instead of getting strung along.

Common questions

ATV questions, answered straight

Do you really work on ATVs?

Yes — ATV maintenance and tires are on M.D. Automotive's service list, right alongside the cars and trucks. Quads and four-wheelers come through the same 5-bay shop on Plat I Rd and get the same honest treatment the shop has been known for since 1990.

Do you sell ATV tires?

Yes — new ATV tires only, same policy as the automotive side. No used-tire installs, and no big stock sitting on a shelf: the right tire for your machine gets ordered in, with deliveries arriving four times a week, so there can be a short wait.

What about side-by-sides and UTVs?

Quads and four-wheelers are squarely on the list. For a side-by-side or UTV, the honest move is to tell the assistant exactly what machine you've got and what it needs — you'll get a straight answer about yours rather than a blanket yes that might not hold.

Do you work on boats or jet skis?

No — boats, jet skis and watercraft of any kind are outside what Mark takes on, and the same goes for motorhomes and RVs. ATVs yes; marine no. If it floats, the shop will point you elsewhere rather than take on work it isn't set up for.

How do I get the shop's number?

Tell the assistant on this page what machine you've got and what it needs. If it's a fit, you get the number to call or text, straight to the shop. During shop hours (Mon–Fri, 7am–4pm) a real person picks up — and folks haul quads in from all around, so a fair drive is no problem.
