Oakland's older trucks and farm rigs have a friend at M.D. Automotive — about six miles south in Sutherlin. Tell our assistant about your vehicle and we'll tell you straight if it's a fit.
We're a small shop and we like it that way — so our assistant asks a couple quick questions before connecting you. It keeps the bay full of the work we do best, and it saves you a call if we're not the right fit.
Make, model, year, and what it's doing. Type it or just talk.
The right kind of work for the shop — takes a few seconds. A drive away is no problem.
You get the shop's number to call or text — straight to the bench. Everyone else gets pointed the right way, politely.

Oakland sits about a mile and a half east of I-5 at exit 138, and the shop is two mileposts south at Sutherlin — roughly six miles door to door. A good share of the trucks Mark sees come down from that way: the older farm rigs and work pickups that just need someone who knows them.
He's got a real soft spot for the older diesels, the 7.3 Power Stroke and the 5.9 Cummins especially. If you're nursing an older Ford or Dodge in Oakland, that's squarely his wheelhouse.
Stearns Lane out to I-5 exit 138, then south two exits and off at 136. If you'd rather stay off the freeway, Old Highway 99 runs from Oakland straight down through Sutherlin — the same road that rejoins I-5 at exit 140 north of town.
That's exactly why the assistant asks about the car before it hands out the number. You find out whether the job is a fit for a five-bay shop in a few seconds, from your kitchen, instead of finding out after you've driven down.
They're some of Mark's favorite work — the 7.3 Power Stroke and 5.9 Cummins in particular. Worth knowing before you set off: truck front-end work and truck clutches are the two jobs he doesn't take on.
A fair drive away? Come on by anyway — Mark works out of the one shop, so folks bring their vehicles to him. Just ask the assistant and you'll get the number either way.
